About the Role
Musicologie Lakeway is seeking a passionate teacher to lead its early childhood music program and teach private lessons. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children and their parents, and a background in music.
Responsibilities
- Lead 40-minute Musicologie Junior classes for ages 0-5 and their grown-ups, including singing, moving, dancing, and playing simple instruments.
- Teach private lessons (30/45/60 min) to students of all ages and levels.
- Create a welcoming environment for children and parents in every class.
- Contribute to community building through performances, group classes, and events.
Requirements
- Proficiency in piano, guitar, or voice.
- Experience working with young children (teaching, childcare, or group leadership).
- Comfortable interacting with both parents and toddlers.
- Availability on weekday mornings, afternoons/evenings, and/or weekends.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship is not provided).
