About the Role
This is the first dedicated accounting hire and involves a wide range of responsibilities including customer service, AI quality control, process building, and product research. The role reports directly to the founder and ensures customer satisfaction and system integrity during rapid product development. Responsibilities include bridging communication gaps with customers, handling manual processes until automation is feasible, and building customer support business processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between customers and the system, explaining functionality and addressing issues.
- Handle manual processes for tasks not yet automated, such as customer onboarding.
- Build business processes for customer support.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and system integrity during rapid product development.
Requirements
- Must possess a CPA.
- Requires controller experience at a software company with experience managing SaaS books.
- Fluency in ASC 606, billing, invoicing, and accrual bookkeeping for software businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive client relationships.
- Experience with 'vibe coding' and ability to showcase related projects.
