About the Role

This role is a central part of the finance function for a global, multi-currency business, offering hands-on experience in treasury, management accounting, and FX hedging. You will oversee day-to-day cash operations, review P&L forecasts and variance analyses, and execute the FX hedge program, reporting directly to the Finance Manager and CFO. This is an opportunity to build cross-functional expertise and contribute to strengthening RTX's global financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day cash operations
Review P&L forecasts and variance analyses
Execute the FX hedge program
Manage multi-currency cash flows
Make FX conversion decisions
Build banking relationships
Prepare monthly variance analyses
Present financial information to management
Execute FX forward contracts
Monitor hedge effectiveness
Maintain and revise the hedge policy
Review weekly cash flow and bank balance reports
Review weekly payment runs and verify risk
Manage, maintain, and escalate VCC transactions
Drive bank infrastructure projects
Align P&L forecast assumptions with business units
Ensure accuracy of FX P&L details and verify proper reflection in financial reports
Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecast updates
Manage relationships and negotiations with FX/banking providers
Monitor monthly FX P&L
Report FX risk positions to Finance Manager and senior management

Requirements

At least 5 years of practical experience in finance, accounting, or treasury
Hands-on experience in FX risk management (hedging, FX forwards, etc.) or international payments and remittances
Experience preparing and managing monthly and annual financial reports
Experience in management accounting tasks such as P&L forecasting and budget variance analysis
Experience collaborating with overseas teams in English
Financial analysis and numerical skills (Excel, etc.)
Understanding and operational experience of financial policies and internal controls
Strong communication and negotiation skills (both internal and external stakeholders)
Business-level communication skills in both English and Japanese
Hands-on approach and ability to execute operational tasks independently
Adaptability in a fast-changing, high-growth environment
Ability to balance financial governance with business growth objectives
Experience designing or revising FX hedging policies
Experience managing relationships and negotiations with multiple banking institutions
Experience designing or operating cash pooling or concentration account structures
Practical experience managing multi-currency cash flows
Experience as primary owner of rolling forecasts and annual budgeting
Experience preparing financial commentary and reports for senior management
FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) experience
Experience managing FX P&L accounting and reporting
Experience using ERP or financial systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Finance experience at a multinational company
Experience collaborating on finance matters with overseas offices or subsidiaries
Experience managing international remittances or payment schemes such as VCC
