About the Role
This interdisciplinary role focuses on developing and applying advanced spatial imaging omics to study stem cell and neuronal plasticity, engineering novel tools for imaging integration, and investigating stem cell fate decisions. Research projects will be tailored to the applicant’s background.
Responsibilities
- Developing and applying advanced spatial imaging omics to study stem cell and neuronal plasticity at single-cell resolution.
- Engineering novel tools to integrate live-cell or biomolecular imaging with spatial omics.
- Investigating stem cell fate decisions and exploring their regenerative potential in aging and disease models.
- Performing spatial omics protocols on cell culture and tissue sections.
- Performing sequencing library preparation.
- Performing standard molecular biology and biochemistry methodologies.
- Performing tissue culture techniques.
- Performing genome editing.
Requirements
- An MD and/or Ph.D. in bioengineering, biophysics, stem cell biology, or a related field.
