About the Role
Seeking an ambitious Field Service Engineer (FSE) within Keysight’s Global Services Organization (KGSO) dedicated to innovation and contribution, where respect, teamwork and uncompromising integrity are key. As a member of Keysight’s Wafer Test Solutions (WTS) Field Service Team, you will work on Keysight 4070, 4080, P9000 and NX5400A families of Parametric Test Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support Semiconductor Wafer customers for on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, calibration, upgrade, and repair of Keysight’s WTS Parametric Solutions.
- Provide on-site support, as well as remote support and troubleshooting via phone, email and online audio-visual applications.
- Manage and implement preventative maintenance (PM) and calibration schedules in conjunction with customer’s production requirements.
- Install hardware and software/firmware upgrades and proactively install service notes.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.
- Act as a primary interface to the customer, working with cross-functional teams to address difficult repair situations.
- Solve a broad range of problems involving hardware, software, networking, operating systems, and probers.
- Determine and develop approaches to varied assignments.
- Perform on-site installation and commissioning of the complete solution.
- Support regional project teams with support strategy planning and implementation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to travel via car and air.
- Self-directed with minimum supervision, able to make decisions that favorably impact customer uptime.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Ability to work in high-stress, mission-critical situations.
- Flexible working hours per customer commitments.
- Ability to travel on short notice.
- Ability to work after hours/overtime as customer situation dictates.
- Ability to lift equipment weighing 50 lbs.
- Ability to effectively use Digital Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes and Frequency Counters for troubleshooting.
- Discipline to complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Manage company assets and spare parts effectively.
- Ability to work from your own home office.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Proven customer interfacing experience.
- Demonstrate electromechanical aptitude and skills.
- Familiarity with semiconductor wafer product environments and processes.
- Prior functional test experience, particularly those involving Keysight instrumentation and instrument-based systems.
