About the Role
We are hiring a design engineer to join our 7-person team and own how Synthetic looks and feels everywhere. This is our second design hire, and you will work alongside our first designer, reporting directly to the founder. This role spans brand, marketing, and product, including defining Synthetic's brand identity, designing and building marketing materials, and building and tweaking product features.
Responsibilities
- Define what Synthetic looks and sounds like, and keep it consistent everywhere it shows up.
- Design and build our website, landing pages, and launch materials alongside our growth marketer.
- Build and tweak features in TypeScript on SvelteKit, side by side with our engineers.
Requirements
- Ship your own designs in HTML/CSS/TypeScript, not just Figma.
- Have work across brand, marketing, and product you're proud to show off.
- A pragmatic approach to building fast at an early-stage company.
- A severe bullshit allergy.
