About the Role
As a Bartender at Conrad Tokyo, you will craft exceptional cocktails and beverages, creating warm, memorable moments for every guest. You will bring personality, creativity, and genuine hospitality to every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Delight guests by bringing an upbeat and friendly attitude to all interactions and proactively seeking ways to make their experience special.
- Prepare and serve beverages, mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipe standards for accuracy and satisfaction.
- Maintain bar operations by stocking and organizing bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables, for seamless service.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system for cash, credit/debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers.
- Monitor product quality by managing inventory and ensuring the freshness and quality of all beverage-related items.
- Address guest concerns professionally, managing situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect to ensure a safe environment.
- Comply with regulatory standards, maintaining compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of bartending or related F&B experience
- Strong mixology skills and knowledge of alcoholic beverages
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Good English skills to meet business needs
- Attention to detail and time management, especially during peak hours
- Familiarity with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Open minded and outgoing personality
