About the Role

Thatcher Company of New York is seeking qualified Truck Loader Operators on 1st Shift to work in our Williamson, NY facility. Our manufacturing teams create essential chemistries and solutions supporting clean water, safe environments, reliable infrastructure, and critical industries. Your work plays a vital role in protecting public health and shaping a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

Load and unload tanks, rail cars, tanker trailers, and all other containers
Operate commercial yard trucks to move trailers around the plant
Understand and operate plant equipment and processes
Regularly lift 50 pounds
Operate pumps and loading equipment
Operate forklift

Requirements

Desire and demonstrated ability to work safely and promote safety/safe work practices
Be quality conscious
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language well for safety and operations
Aptitude to follow written and verbal instructions in detail and learn additional skills with experience
Capacity to work in extreme conditions (temperature) and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Experience in a manufacturing environment, including the use of tools and equipment, is preferred
Ability to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gloves and boots, safety glasses, hard hat, face shield, full-face respirator (if required), and chemical splash suit (overalls and jacket)
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
