About the Role
We are seeking a Workday Middleware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and the enterprise application landscape. This role involves hands-on integration delivery using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday APIs, focusing on reliability, security, and data quality. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and the broader enterprise application landscape.
- Perform hands-on integration delivery using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday APIs.
- Ensure reliability, security, and data quality in integrations.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and design reviews.
- Mentor more junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Five or more years of Workday integration development experience.
- Deep expertise in EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors.
- Strong XSLT skills and experience with Workday Studio orchestrations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of the Workday data model and tenant configuration.
- Experience with Workday security model including ISU/ISSG patterns.
- Familiarity with calculated fields and custom report design.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.
