About the Role
Fanshawe Athletics and Recreation is recruiting energetic and dedicated students for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This role involves supporting various athletic and recreation activities, including customer service, event setup, equipment maintenance, social media content creation, photography, videography, graphic design, and game officiating/announcing.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service.
- Oversee Recreation activities and tournaments.
- Maintain equipment inventory.
- Responsible for setup/teardown of Varsity events.
- Create content for Fanshawe Athletics social media accounts.
- Capture photos at Varsity and Recreation events.
- Edit photos.
- Capture, edit, and create video footage from Varsity and Recreation events.
- Create and design content for promoting Fanshawe Athletics.
- Provide support to Varsity teams.
- Assist at practices and games.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by Head Coach.
- Responsible for scorekeeping, time clock, shot clock, and statistics for varsity games/events.
- Announce at home Varsity games/events.
- Perform facility maintenance.
- Perform other duties related to promotions.
Requirements
- Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student.
- Transcripts are mandatory as a condition of employment.
