About the Role
Lead the delivery of a transformative technology education programme across London. This senior management role is responsible for the successful delivery of the TechFirst programme across one of the UK's most complex and diverse regions, overseeing regional planning, performance, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and reporting while leading a team of delivery professionals.
Responsibilities
- Translate national programme strategy into effective regional delivery.
- Provide operational leadership across a large team.
- Ensure the programme achieves its targets, delivers high-quality experiences, and creates measurable impact.
- Oversee regional planning, performance, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and reporting.
- Lead a team of delivery professionals.
- Work closely with national colleagues and external partners to ensure delivery remains aligned to programme objectives and government expectations.
- Manage multiple stakeholders.
- Drive performance.
- Lead continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading complex programmes within education, skills, careers, youth engagement, or related sectors.
- Confident leader with strong programme management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with effective operational delivery.
- Experience of managing performance against targets.
- Experience reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Experience building productive relationships across diverse partner networks.
- Passionate about improving opportunities for young people.
- Motivated by the chance to make a lasting impact.
- Required to undertake regular travel across London and occasional national travel.
