About the Role
Product Management at Capital One involves reimagining the status quo, identifying value creation opportunities, and driving innovative customer experiences through technology. This role focuses on leading the Data Standardization and Governance strategy for production data, owning improvements in the production system, influencing third-party suppliers, and partnering with various teams to understand and meet data needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Data Standardization and Governance strategy for data from the Utah Processing Center.
- Own outcomes related to driving improvements in the production system at UPC, including reconciliation and self-healing controls.
- Influence changes at 3rd party suppliers to improve SLAs, cost, and production quality.
- Partner with Data Analysts, Correspondence Product teams, and Platform tenants to understand evolving production data needs.
- Develop strategies to connect the data product across the Capital One ecosystem.
- Understand customer needs using empathy and design thinking to build a customer-backed product roadmap.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
Requirements
- Currently have, or be in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field, Business, or Marketing, with the expectation that the degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.
- OR Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience.
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
