About the Role
Allied Risk Management is hiring Part-Time Weekend Security Guards in and around NYC. We are a locally owned and operated, women-owned security and technology company serving NYC and surrounding areas for 20 years. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for clients to conduct business through innovative and comprehensive security solutions designed to mitigate risks, protect assets, and save lives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call the police or fire department in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Deter/prevent theft
- Secure designated areas
- Patrol areas for suspicious activity
- Report daily activities
- Respond to alarms
Requirements
- NYS Security Guard License
- S-60 Fire Guard License
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (for construction)
- Valid Drivers License or ID Card
- A working phone with the capabilities of downloading apps that are needed for our time and attendance platform.
- Walking around and standing may be required during vertical and perimeter patrol.
