About the Role

HOK is seeking a marketing professional to lead, organize, and coordinate the preparation of marketing proposals, presentations, and submittals to showcase the firm's expertise and improve people's lives, serve clients, and heal the planet.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, produces, and ensures the timely and effective submission of RFPs/RFQs and related forms.
  • Composes or edits answers to technical questions for proposals.
  • Collaborates with marketing managers and practice leaders to establish priorities and protocols for responding to marketing inquiries.
  • Leads deliverable timelines, including outlining pursuits, scheduling meetings, and consultant outreach.
  • Manages internal interview preparation, ensuring schedules are followed, content is created, and support materials are in place.
  • Provides initial graphic mock-ups and assists in writing/updating proposal content, including project narratives, resumes, and specialty collateral.
  • Gathers information about prospects and participates in proposal strategy.
  • Interacts with marketing staff in other HOK offices to exchange information.
  • Establishes and manages timelines and assignments for marketing deliverables.
  • Coordinates or obtains information from consultant firms for proposals or presentations.
  • Supports marketing managers and participates in photoshoots of completed projects.
  • Maintains marketing resources and databases, including qualifications, project narratives, resumes, data, presentations, photographs, files, mailing lists, and client databases.
  • Ensures supplies and equipment for marketing efforts are maintained and ready.
  • Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
  • Coordinates with firmwide communications on social media and external messages.
  • Mentors and may direct the work of less experienced marketing staff.
  • Assists with QA/QC to ensure submissions comply with client requirements and HOK brand standards.

Requirements

  • 10 plus years marketing experience in the architecture, interior design, engineering, construction or real estate development industry.
  • Experience in the production of marketing materials and graphics for professional services.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Overtime will be required.

  • $105,000 to $115,000
