About the Role
The Intake Coordinator role is the initial point of contact for clients and acts as a resource for key customers. This role is an integral position within the Customer Contact Centre team, assuring Lifemark provides early treatment intervention and access for patients requiring quality treatment services. The ability to interact with staff, patients, and customers/adjusters in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial. The ideal individual has the capacity to work well under tight timelines while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Expert-level written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as strong decision-making ability and attention to detail. This person must be exceptionally well-organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting a variety of key customers.
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for client companies
- Receive incoming calls from customers and record new referrals within the client intake system
- Verify information and coordinate assessment times with the network of clinics
- Book appointments via the internal booking system
- Correspond with clinics via email with patient/caller inquiries
Requirements
- Have 2+ years of previous customer service/administrative experience
- Possess advanced written and verbal communication skills with a strict attention to detail
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to maintain customer relationships with client companies and patients
- Have the ability to prioritize under pressure
- Possess strong computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel and aptitude for database software
- Possess exceptional organizational skills, work independently, take initiative and have a strong work ethic
