About the Role
As Senior Manager, People Resolutions at VEG, you will lead the workplace investigations program, ensuring an equitable, consistent, and people-first approach to resolving complex workplace concerns. You will provide strategic oversight of the People Resolutions Partners and function, enabling equitable outcomes across the organization. This role involves triaging employee relations concerns, determining investigation ownership, and personally conducting highly complex investigations while coaching your team.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the centralized People Resolutions Partner team, setting clear expectations and ensuring consistent, high-quality support.
- Own VEG’s workplace investigations program and the standards, playbooks, and workflows that support it.
- Oversee case intake, prioritization, and assignment based on complexity, sensitivity, and organizational risk.
- Lead highly sensitive or enterprise-level investigations and advise leaders, PBPs, Labor Relations, Legal, and VQ partners on performance, corrective action, workplace conflict, accommodations, policy interpretation, and employment risk.
- Own VEG’s accommodation program and the standards, playbooks, and workflows that support it.
- Oversee case intake, prioritization, and assignment for accommodations.
- Review investigation findings, recommendations, and documentation for quality, consistency, and objectivity.
- Partner with Legal, Labor Relations, Compliance, and other Centers of Excellence to ensure practices align with company policy and applicable employment laws.
- Use case data, hotline reports, accommodations, and engagement feedback to identify recurring themes and root causes.
- Build reporting and metrics that improve timeliness, quality, outcomes, and organizational decision-making.
- Partner across People Experience and Operations to strengthen leader capability, improve workplace culture, and reduce preventable risk through training, policies, proactive programs, and sustainable action plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resources Business Partnering, Employment Law, or a related People function.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex, sensitive workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, ethics concerns, leadership conduct, and other high-risk employee relations matters.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and building or improving employee relations programs, investigation practices, policies, and operational workflows.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations, accommodations, and employee relations practices.
- Judgment to balance compassion, fairness, business needs, and organizational risk while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
- Strong communication and partnership skills, with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and engage inclusively with frontline VEGgies, hospital and market leaders, VQ partners, and executives.
- Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to use workforce insights to recommend solutions.
- Ability to approach new challenges with urgency, curiosity, and ownership in a fast-growing environment.
