About the Role

The Amazon.ca Consumables team is seeking a self-driven Vendor Manager to support our Vendor Management team and vendor partners. Vendor Managers work directly with vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience across their business, playing a critical role in managing strategic brands to drive profitability and top-line performance. The candidate will use customer obsession and analytics to drive their business, engaging with multiple internal teams to optimize product line performance for key manufacturers on Amazon.ca.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic and established brands to drive profitability and top-line performance.
  • Use customer obsession and analytics to drive business.
  • Engage with multiple internal teams to optimize product line performance for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.ca.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance.
  • Execute analytical deep dives that help inform category growth strategies and initiatives.
  • Drive category growth.
  • Develop strong functional skills in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning/forecasting, pricing, and business analytics.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools
  • Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel and SQL)
  • Experience in online retail
  • Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
