About the Role

Registry Services is establishing a new Graduation and Awards team to deliver a dedicated focus on student awards, certificate production, and graduation ceremonies. The Senior Graduation and Awards Officer will coordinate operational delivery, ensure data accuracy, manage events, and support an excellent experience for graduating students.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of awards, certificates, and graduation activities, ensuring data is accurately processed and validated.
  • Lead operational planning for graduation cycles.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex cases.
  • Support process improvements.
  • Provide guidance to team members.
  • Develop stakeholder communications.
  • Work collaboratively with Schools and Events colleagues to ensure successful delivery of graduation and award processes.

Requirements

  • Experience of student records administration, award processing, or related higher education operations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret regulations.
  • Ability to manage complex data accurately.
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Experience supervising colleagues is advantageous.
  • Experience working with student records systems such as SITS is advantageous.
  • Experience delivering large-scale operational activities is advantageous.
