About the Role
American Century is seeking talented individuals for its 12-week Investment Analyst Summer Associate program. Participants will rotate through Global Non-US Equity teams in New York, gaining access to portfolio management teams and providing fundamental research support to drive superior client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Research and model common stocks, recommending purchases and sales.
- Analyze industry groups or investment themes as requested by portfolio managers.
- Facilitate preparation of analytical data for weekly equity investment meetings.
- Attend and participate in investment company presentations and weekly equity investment meetings.
Requirements
- MBA - 1st year (concentration in finance preferred but not required) or a similar combination of education and work experience.
- Highly curious, motivated, intelligent and self-starting, with the ability to work independently and as a teammate.
- Able to identify priorities, plan, coordinate, and follow-through on assignments.
- Willing to internalize and implement American Century's differentiated investment process.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Creative, open-minded, logical, determined, and highly ethical.
- Flexible and suited to covering multiple sectors.
- Analytical and able to perform detailed and cogent research.
