About the Role
This role focuses on operating and improving the Foresight-to-Influence model, connecting long-term foresight and research with adoption, influence measurement, and learning. You will define, prioritize, and manage work across teams, ensuring transparent processes and clear communication of impact. This is an individual contributor position.
Responsibilities
- Operate and continuously improve RPC's Foresight-to-Influence operating model.
- Design and administer transparent prioritization, review, and sequencing processes, documenting decisions, trade-offs, and next steps.
- Translate agreed priorities into clear workstreams with owners, dependencies, decision points, and handoffs.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning, workshops, and reviews to move work from agreement into execution.
- Identify risks, stalled handoffs, and emerging issues, escalating them to appropriate decision-makers.
- Ensure major initiatives consider intended audiences, outcomes, and pathways to influence from the outset.
- Maintain portfolio visibility for leadership to track progress, connections between workstreams, and decision needs.
- Develop practical measures of adoption, engagement, and influence, and integrate feedback into future prioritization.
- Translate foresight scenarios and hypotheses into practical inputs for planning, prioritization, and stress-testing.
- Create clear strategic narratives and executive-ready materials that unify individual initiatives into a coherent story.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results in project, program, change management, or operations roles.
- Experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments without direct authority.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to understand broader context and translate it into actionable steps.
- Hands-on approach to defining, prioritizing, and managing work, and leading others through execution.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to synthesize perspectives and help groups reach decisions.
- Sound judgment in prioritization, sequencing, and escalation.
- Comfort working with imperfect quantitative and qualitative evidence to build practical dashboards and tools without creating unnecessary process.
