About the Role

Regeneron is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support R&D, primarily Engineering and technical teams. This role will also support projects within the client team and report into the Director, HR Business Partner. HRBPs develop solutions to solve business challenges, partnering with other HR functions and stakeholders to provide support and counsel on organizational and people-related issues, promoting Regeneron's high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HRBP Leadership to identify and plan key HR work for business functions.
  • Work with managers and employees to solve employee relations and people-related challenges.
  • Handle conflicts, investigations, and employee grievances.
  • Coach managers and employees on options and demonstrating the Regeneron Way.
  • Participate in interviews for key positions and candidate debriefs.
  • Onboard new managers by partnering with hiring managers.
  • Identify individual and team needs and partner with OD Consulting to craft solutions.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to define new roles and support reward programs.
  • Partner with managers to support year-end performance calibrations and compensation.
  • Partner directly with the VP, HR to advance strategic initiatives and drive execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a scientific or HR-related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or a Master’s in OD/IO or Human Resources is also preferred.
  • 8+ years of direct HR experience.
  • Experience working within the pharma/biopharma/biotech industry highly preferred.
  • Ability to quickly develop trusted relationships with peers and employees at all levels.
  • Comfort challenging the status quo in a growing team and influencing scientific and technical leaders.
  • Learning agility and comfort with a high level of ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to identify problems and deliver solutions.
  • Exceptional employee relations skills and experience.
  • Strong project management skills highly desired.
