About the Role
In this role, tutors will deliver in-person bilingual (Spanish/English) math support to students in grades 9–12, helping them master fundamental concepts in Algebra, Algebra II, or Geometry. This role offers the opportunity to close the opportunity gap and help urban students reach their full potential, with a flexible schedule of 10-35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person bilingual (Spanish/English) math support to students in grades 9–12.
- Help students master fundamental concepts in Algebra, Algebra II, or Geometry.
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies.
Requirements
- Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
- Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school.
- Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
