About the Role
Holiday Inn Express is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Night Auditor to join their Front Desk team. This role is perfect for individuals comfortable working independently overnight while delivering excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests during overnight hours
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Process reservations, payments, and guest account transactions
- Answer phones and respond to guest questions and requests
- Complete nightly audit and end-of-day procedures
- Review and balance daily transactions
- Verify room charges, payments, and guest accounts for accuracy
- Complete and distribute required nightly reports
- Prepare the hotel system for the next business day
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues when possible
- Monitor hotel activity and help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Communicate important information to the morning Front Desk team
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk and lobby area
- Follow hotel and IHG policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Assist with other hotel duties as needed during overnight hours
Requirements
- Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred, but not required
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently overnight
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel software
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle guest information appropriately
