About the Role

As a Technical Service Manager Cloud Applications, you will leverage your existing knowledge in service management and cloud applications to contribute to diverse projects and operational organizations. You will be the central point of contact for the operation of cloud applications, coordinating all operational processes and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all operational processes for cloud applications as the central point of contact.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to proactively identify and address issues.
  • Act as the interface to clients, handling inquiries and incidents.
  • Ensure transparent status updates for all stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute the introduction of new versions into operation, including release planning and preparation of production deployments.
  • Manage installation and upgrade activities during maintenance windows.
  • Establish processes and tools for operational improvements.
  • Maintain adequate operational documentation.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of technical operations.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in business informatics, information technology, engineering, or a comparable technical/scientific field.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role.
  • Sound knowledge of ITIL or comparable frameworks.
  • Experience in operating public cloud infrastructures, including management.
  • Proficiency in incident and problem management and adherence to service level agreements.
  • At least two years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
  • Experience in automating operational and deployment processes.
  • Experience in monitoring, logging, and implementing IT security and data protection requirements in regulated environments, preferably in the banking sector.
  • Strong hands-on mentality with a passion for technology and a willingness to delve into technical issues.
  • Team orientation and experience with agile working methods (e.g., Scrum).
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
