About the Role
Join our mission-driven team as an Education Champion, providing Math & ELA support to 2nd through 7th graders. The program operates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, offering a competitive hourly rate and the chance to make a meaningful impact on urban students' lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects including Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science.
- Offer Regents exam preparation.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to implement engaging, personalized learning strategies.
- Support students' academic and personal success.
Requirements
- Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school.
- Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
- Passionate about supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
- Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors.
