About the Role
Tutors will provide math support to grades 6th through 8th. The program runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. This role offers the opportunity to earn a program completion bonus of up to 10% of total program earnings, close the opportunity gap, help urban students reach their full potential, and sharpen teaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies.
Requirements
- Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school.
- Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
