About the Role
In this role, you will support clients throughout the entire M&A deal cycle, from strategy and due diligence to financing, technology, and successful transaction implementation and integration. Our team assists clients with the strategic, financial, and legal aspects of buying, selling, or merging companies.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on national and international M&A transactions with a focus on Financial Due Diligence.
- Contribute to purchase price determination and company valuation on buy-side and sell-side projects.
- Act as a full team member from day one, taking responsibility for your area and communicating directly with clients.
- Analyze business models for sustainability and conduct in-depth financial and company analyses.
- Summarize findings in Financial Due Diligence reports or Financial Fact Books.
- Identify value drivers and financial/business risks in planned M&A transactions.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, contributing to their development.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on M&A, Corporate Finance, external accounting, finance/controlling, or auditing.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Finance / M&A Transaction Services or auditing.
- Very good MS Office skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- Ideally, additional foreign language skills.
