About the Role

Help middle schoolers build math confidence! As a Math Tutor, you'll support students in grades 6–8 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:40 AM to 1:40 PM. This role offers the opportunity to close the opportunity gap and help urban students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep.
Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies.

Requirements

Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school.
Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
Passionate about supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
