About the Role
As a Senior IT Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for IT integration topics, designing complex integration architectures and concepts, as well as the (API) product lifecycle for digital services using state-of-the-art technologies. You will advise clients on their cloud journeys, from strategy to development and integration of high-performing, future-proof applications, through to transforming large IT organizations towards agility and migrating complex IT landscapes to the cloud, including operating innovative software services.
Responsibilities
- Design complex integration architectures and concepts, and the (API) product lifecycle for digital services with state-of-the-art technologies.
- Develop suitable integration strategies and architectures for clients and support their implementation into existing IT landscapes, acting as a liaison between clients and development teams.
- Work with diverse technologies and acquire knowledge to provide solution-oriented advice to clients.
- Maintain close communication with clients, lead workshops, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop customized best-practice approaches for integration strategies and the setup of digital ecosystems with your team.
- Monitor market tech trends and develop them into services for clients in collaboration with the team.
Requirements
- Practical experience and sound knowledge of integration and API management platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, SAP CI, Azure Integration Services, Apigee, Kong) or other integration tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Solace, ActiveMQ).
- Broad technical expertise in databases, IT architectures, programming, APIs, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies.
- Strong interest in current technology trends and modern IT architectures, combined with a high degree of customer focus, communication skills, and teamwork in international environments.
- Willingness to travel and proficiency in German and English (at least B2 level).
- Strong ability to identify and critically evaluate AI potentials and to strategically apply them for innovative solution approaches, sound recommendations, and measurable customer benefits.
