About the Role
Shape the future of the financial industry in Assurance Financial Services Industries. You will join a highly qualified team supporting financial institutions in optimizing processes, minimizing risks, implementing regulatory requirements, and adhering to compliance standards to develop sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support clients as an integral part of the FSI IT Audit team in diverse projects.
- Work with leading banks, insurance companies, or investment funds in the real asset and securities sector.
- Gain deep insights into the IT processes of banks, capital management companies, or insurance companies.
- Perform IT audits of annual and consolidated financial statements, as well as securities and custody audits.
- Organize and independently build a specialized network and expand collaboration between audit teams and IT specialists.
- Actively participate in the planning and organization of IT audits in project-based work within small and large teams.
- Support and take responsibility for IT audit topics of complex operational accounting-relevant IT systems, IT-supported business processes, IT organizations, and IT infrastructures.
- Advise on the use of data analytics in financial statement audits.
- Contribute to solving complex issues related to AI systems, Cyber Security, and other relevant topics.
- Develop deep expertise in information technology within the Financial Services sector.
- Take on responsibility from the beginning and develop and shape future-oriented solutions for the Financial Services audit area.
- Work interdisciplinarily with other service lines, especially in the regulatory environment of Financial Services (banks, insurance, asset management, Crypto Technology DLT).
Requirements
- University degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Law.
- Familiarity with and interest in digitalization and technology trends, Artificial Intelligence, ERP systems, Cloud Computing, or Cyber Security.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Eagerness to solve complex challenges.
- High quality awareness, customer orientation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.
- Ability to react flexibly to industry challenges.
- Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
