About the Role
Tutors will provide ELA support to grades 6th through 8th. The program runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects including Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science.
- Offer Regents exam preparation.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies.
- Support students academically and personally.
Requirements
- Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
- Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school.
- Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors.
