About the Role
New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. This role involves providing comprehensive pediatric dental care within a redesigned healthcare campus featuring a new hospital and health & wellness institute.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose oro-dental pain and infection using imaging and evaluation techniques.
- Perform pediatric dental care such as fluoride treatments, dental sealants, restorative, endodontic, and exodontia using both behavior guidance and sedation as needed.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Supervise, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback of dental residents.
- Conduct didactic instruction, including lectures, and case presentations.
- Assess resident performance and contribute to formal periodic evaluations.
- Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and CODA regulations and standards are met.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS degree.
- Active New York State Dental License.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Salary/Compensations
- $37,000.00 - $37,000.00 Salary/year
Benefits
- Projected bonus of up to $8,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
