About the Role

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the global infrastructure that keeps the cloud running, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling. We tackle complex supply chain challenges and seek talented individuals to join our diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers. You will collaborate across AWS to maintain high standards for safety, environment, and security, ensuring cost-effective capacity for our customers while fostering an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas.

Responsibilities

Support the Environmental Audit program to evolve and meet changing organizational needs, stakeholder expectations, and environmental challenges.
Secure necessary resources and support for continuous improvement of the audit program.
Collaborate with the wider environmental team, operations leaders, and top management to perform reviews and updates.
Support the ongoing identification and assessment of environmental risks across AWS global operations.
Develop and implement strategic plans to address significant environmental risks and opportunities.
Oversee the design and deployment of the Audit program to enhance environmental performance and ensure compliance.
Lead environmental audit training and awareness programs.
Establish and manage a robust system for monitoring, measuring, and reporting performance of the Audit program.
Conduct regular internal audits of Environmental Management System and regulatory compliance.
Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
Present performance reports and recommendations to top management.
Drive the ongoing enhancement of the Audit program.
Lead management reviews, implement corrective and preventative actions, and identify innovative approaches.

Requirements

3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Experience in handling internal & external audits.
Experience performing and/or participating in technical assessments in direct support of a major compliance effort (e.g. ISO 14001).
