About the Role

This role focuses on executing and systematizing events, from initial planning and execution to sponsor acquisition and content creation. The goal is to build a repeatable event playbook and a strong content layer to support future events and business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Take over production on two to three live events, managing venue, vendors, run of show, check-in, and teardown.
  • Own the invite funnel across Luma, Partiful, LinkedIn, and community groups, meeting registration and show-rate targets.
  • Build the attendee capture loop to ensure all attendees are entered into the CRM for business development follow-up.
  • Manage the sponsor package end-to-end, including pitch creation, target list sourcing, outreach, negotiation, and invoice tracking.
  • Source and manage co-host relationships for events like hackathons, workshops, and mixers.
  • Achieve event cost neutrality or better through sponsorship.
  • Publish the event playbook, including theme calendar, guest profiles, sponsor tiers, vendor lists, and follow-up sequences.
  • Develop the content layer around events, creating founder interviews, clips, recaps, and social posts.
  • Provide the business development team with a clean list of sourced meetings attributed to specific events.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in event management, field marketing, community, or partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in securing sponsorship funding.
  • Experience managing an event with a budget, including vendor negotiation, contracts, and invoices.
  • Clear written English for creating sponsor pitches, event pages, and social copy.
  • Comfort with operational tools such as CRM, Luma or Partiful, and spreadsheet reconciliation.
  • Ability to perform operational tasks including follow-ups.
  • 3–5 years in growth/performance marketing at a SaaS or consumer tech company.
  • Experience running paid campaigns focused on free to paid conversions.
  • Skilled in campaign setup and operations for lifecycle marketing.
  • Exposure to affiliate/referral marketing platforms (e.g., Rewardful).
