About the Role
The Pharmacy Technician will support the Pharmacy department by performing technical and clerical functions including dispensing, medication order entry, cart refill, ward stock replenishment, inventory management, sterile products preparation, manufacturing, and pre-packaging. Rotations include responsibilities for continuous quality improvement and workload measurement.

Requirements
- Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required
- Employment conditional upon verification of credentials, health review, and proof of immunity and vaccination status
- All employees and affiliates will follow safe work practices and comply with health and safety policies, procedures and training
- If an exemption from vaccination is required, supporting medical information must be submitted to Occupational Health for review and assessment
Skills
- Sound working knowledge of computer applications such as Meditech
- Strong organization skills
- Strong problem-solving skills

- Minimum of 1 year related hospital experience preferred
Education Level
- Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) accredited college
- Registered and licensed as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT designation) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists under Part A, in good standing and authorized to practice
Salary/Compensations
- Minimum - $34.04/hour; Maximum - $39.24/hour
