About the Role
As a Senior Shop Manager for Wenzel's, you will be the spine and structure of your store, responsible for ensuring its smooth running to maximize sales and minimize costs while reaching KPI targets.
Responsibilities
- Successfully managing and controlling your own shop.
- Training and development of team members to a high level in your own store and local stores when needed.
- Recruitment - Interviewing and hiring for your own store but also for local stores in your division when needed.
- Being the point of contact for local shops when their shop manager is on holiday.
- Ensuring food production quality.
- Exceeding shop performance and KPI's, including sales, wastage %, Wage ratio, staff retention and average spend.
- Ensuring the store is clean, organised and welcoming for customers.
- Monitoring Food safety standards.
- Ensuring high standards of customer service.
- Leading, training, developing and motivating a team with a hands-on approach.
- Motivating, inspiring and leading by example.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years food to go/retail experience.
- Able to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent communicator.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Eager for career progression and wants to succeed.
