About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with a strong background in cloud architecture, specifically in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in guiding our technical teams and ensuring that our cloud infrastructure aligns with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
- Lead the development of cloud migration strategies and execution plans.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture.
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document architectural designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience as a Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud native applications and services.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in GCP.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with data management and analytics services in GCP.
- Certifications in related technologies or methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and solutions.
- Proven track record of successful cloud implementations and migrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
