About the Role

This role ensures all facility operations follow policies and procedures by coordinating daily operations, delegating job assignments, and providing guidance. As a Lead, you will provide supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present, demonstrating established standards to keep buildings and facilities clean and safe. The position involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties.

Responsibilities

Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed, reporting any barriers.
Provide leadership and direction to team members.
Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
Take care of keys and access cards for the property.
Report damaged, broken, and out-of-work features/items.
Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in the assigned building.
Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Assure the highest quality of customer satisfaction.
Provide open communication between field employees and management.
Provide positive coaching to team members.
Assist the Supervisor and Shift Manager in directing and supervising field employees.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
