About the Role
The RON Cleaner Lead ensures facility operations adhere to policies and procedures, coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and providing guidance, and provides supervision when the Manager is absent. This role maintains buildings and facilities to be clean and safe, operates specialized equipment, handles cleaning chemicals, and supports general janitorial duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Assure the highest quality of customer satisfaction.
- Provide open communication between field employees and management.
- Provide positive coaching to team members.
- Assist the Supervisor and Shift Manager in directing and supervising field employees.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed.
- Report any barriers.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
- Take care of keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken and out-of-work features/items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building.
- Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
- Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate any time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
- 1 year of similar work experience.
- 1 year of customer service experience.
- 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid Driver’s license.
