About the Role
The Lab Assistant receives laboratory specimens and requisitions of all types and enters the information into the laboratory information system (LIS) and hospital information system (HIS).
Responsibilities
- Receive laboratory specimens and requisitions of all types.
- Enter specimen and requisition information into the LIS and HIS.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
- Six months of clinical laboratory or healthcare experience.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Keyboarding skills preferred.
- Microsoft Windows experience preferred.
- Microsoft Outlook experience recommended.
