About the Role
Highland Hospital is seeking a full-time Patient Transporter to assist with patient movement and specimen delivery.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients via wheelchairs, stretcher, or as an escort to and from clinical, ancillary, and support department areas.
- Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients between beds, chairs, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Pick up and deliver specimens, cultures, orders, and requisitions to appropriate destinations.
- Maintain an accurate log of all transports.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
