About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries as a Security Officer for a prominent faith-based location. This role involves welcoming visitors, screening individuals and belongings, maintaining an orderly environment, and responding to security concerns with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, clergy, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Screen visitors and their belongings in accordance with site procedures, using access-control and screening equipment.
- Monitor entry points, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious, prohibited, or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively, following established emergency and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
