About the Role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and responding emergency services as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
