About the Role
This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position offers a flexible and dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with an industry leader. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation will be conducted.
- Drug screen will be conducted.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
