About the Role
Early Warning is seeking a Lead Product Manager to simplify integrations for merchants and partners, enabling faster go-lives. Expertise in APIs, Web/Mobile/Server SDKs, and Developer Experience in Fintech is preferred. The Senior Lead Product Manager will champion product strategy, align cross-functional teams, and drive innovative solutions to customer pain points.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and determine products and/or features to be built and delivered.
- Build, align, and motivate cross-functional teams to understand customer pain points and develop innovative solutions.
- Articulate product strategy and vision across the enterprise for multiple products.
- Bring the customer viewpoint to the product design process, leveraging feedback into insights.
- Collaborate with marketing, research, analytics, design, and development partners to develop real-world solutions.
- Use market and industry insights to drive the development of value-added solutions.
- Oversee the integration of strong risk and security controls.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Define requirements, groom user stories, motivate technical teams, and partner closely with technology.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and Integration Support teams to ensure delivery of developer-friendly APIs.
- Bring a strong point of view to API design and develop detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Act as the primary point of contact for API-related inquiries and support.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and strategy.
- Facilitate training and adoption of users and developers to ensure successful API adoption.
- Define editorial standards, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and maintain a unified documentation strategy for developer-facing content.
- Lead the evolution of the documentation platform and manage vendor relationships.
- Incorporate developer-focused features and stay current with API/SDK ecosystem trends.
- Integrate modern tooling into the docs portal.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevRel to streamline the developer journey.
- Define metrics to improve onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States at the date of hire.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically, 12 or more years of related work experience OR post-secondary degree and at least 8 years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in design thinking and agile development process and methodology.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Proven experience in and passion for building and delivering great products.
- Demonstrated experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap, and meeting product revenue targets.
- Excellent listening and execution skills.
- Background and drug screen required.
- Demonstrated experience in building a product strategy and roadmap for API offerings.
- Understanding of Open API specs.
- Demonstrated experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap, and meeting product revenue targets for API products.
- Prior experience with building (rather than using) APIs in the PM role.
- Non-product background in engineering, architecture, software solutions with a focus on APIs.

- $150,000 - $175,000 (Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL / Washington, DC)
- $180,000 - $210,000 (New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA)
