About the Role
Seeking two exceptional ROTA nannies to care for an almost 3-year-old boy and his newborn sister in a single-parent household. This is a highly mobile, travel-heavy position requiring experience with newborns and toddlers, an active lifestyle, and adaptability to work within a broader household team across multiple domestic and international locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide developmentally appropriate care for a newborn and toddler.
- Establish and maintain consistent routines across multiple homes and travel destinations.
- Support the toddler's preschool schedule, including drop-off/pick-up and out-of-preschool care.
- Care for the toddler more extensively during periods when not at preschool.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities, outings, and adventures.
- Support newborn care as the baby grows and the current NCS arrangement concludes.
- Manage children's laundry and clothing organization.
- Pack and unpack children's belongings for travel.
- Maintain children's rooms, play areas, and belongings in an organized and tidy manner.
- Support the children's daily routines while traveling.
- Travel internationally and domestically with the family.
- Drive children safely and confidently, including in winter/snow conditions.
- Incorporate outdoor activities into the children's routine.
- Potentially walk or assist with walking the family's two large Black Russian Terriers.
- Provide general child-related household support, such as emptying the dishwasher and keeping children's areas tidy.
- Work collaboratively with the second nanny and other household staff.
- Communicate effectively with the parents and household team.
- Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Extensive domestic and international travel is required.
- Must be a confident and experienced driver.
- Must be comfortable driving in snow and winter conditions.
- Must be comfortable caring for two children, including a newborn and toddler.
- Must be comfortable working harmoniously and collaboratively as part of a two-nanny team.
- Must be comfortable around large dogs.
- Must be comfortable living and working across multiple locations.
- Must be flexible regarding schedule and travel.
- Must be able to maintain children's routines while traveling.
- Must demonstrate excellent discretion and professionalism.
- Must be comfortable with an outdoor lifestyle.
- Must be comfortable working in a relatively informal, family-oriented environment while understanding the standards of a private household.
- Must be capable and professional without being overly formal.
- Must be able to naturally integrate into the family's lifestyle and work easily/comfortably alongside the family and existing staff.
