About the Role
This role is responsible for managing clients and related credit products, partnering closely with relationship management, sales/trading, treasury management, operations and risk teams to support the client relationship. Key responsibilities include underwriting, monitoring, managing operational needs and/or client requests. Job expectations include credit-focused client management responsibilities, independent thought leadership, and the ability to provide feedback to less experienced teammates.
Responsibilities
- Partners with relationship management and product partners to assess clients’ credit needs and create solutions
- Leads loan structure conversations and negotiates loan documentation with clients and internal/external legal partners
- Drives credit and risk approval processes for new credit originations, renewals, increases, and modifications
- Leads ongoing monitoring efforts for a portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations, policy and procedure
- Performs periodic project performance and financial reviews of transactions.
- Prepares and writes periodic status reviews and update risk rating scorecards.
- Monitors the credit profile of key transaction counterparties (e.g. borrowers, off-takers, project sponsors and servicers).
- Ensures compliance with the terms of and reporting requirements of transaction agreements.
- Evaluates and processes project related consent requests (e.g., amendments, waivers, extensions) from clients.
- Provides timely responses to inquiries on the portfolio from senior credit and risk management team members.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in banking or finance industry in corporate credit, tax equity, project finance and/or renewable energy.
- Ability to review, understand and interpret legal documentation of complex transactions and their impact on credit exposure.
- Ability to work efficiently and productively on multiple transactions or tasks at one time.
- Ability to independently lead diligence efforts, make approval recommendations, and execute timely funding.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Salary/Compensations
- $130,000.00 - $201,200.00 annualized salary
