About the Role
The Manager Triad and Risk Operations performs analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily management of applications supporting the Retail Risk function for Unsecured Lending, primarily using the TSYS-TRIAD application.
Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- Gather requirements from business units and translate them to programmers and developers.
- Perform high-level configuration and moderate-level coding tasks.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for system implementation decisions.
- Support complex business processes.
- Work on multiple projects as a project team member.
- Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions.
- Demonstrate informed knowledge of business functions, primarily retail risk management, to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10 years experience required.
- Advanced understanding and management principles for software development mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions.
- Ability to design business solutions that increase competitive advantage.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solution.
- Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details.
- Ability to increase operating efficiency while produce high quality technical solutions.
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary as engagement with various teams across multiple functions will be done daily.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and independent research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
