About the Role

Drive the delivery of top-notch Radiology services at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The scope of this role includes the radiology access center, pre-certification team, registrars for all radiology areas. The administrator oversees all of radiology scheduling, physician services, quality assurance, daily patient flow and scheduling templates for CT, MRI, IR, US, Xray and Breast Imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the radiology access center, pre-certification team, and registrars for all radiology areas.
  • Manage all radiology scheduling, including direct scheduling performed by service line ASRs.
  • Oversee physician services, support, and coverage.
  • Ensure quality assurance and manage daily patient flow.
  • Manage scheduling templates for CT, MRI, IR, US, Xray and Breast Imaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of related work experience in finance and health care managing large and complex organizations, including physician clinical practices
  • Relevant experience in health care, particularly at an academic medical center
  • Significant management experience in a faculty-driven environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences among related projects
  • Broad knowledge of clinical teaching, educational requirements, human resources practices, and ambulatory practice billing
  • Must live within a commutable distance to NYP
