About the Role

Lead and deliver complex, cross-functional projects that drive strategic initiatives across NYBC Enterprises. Ensure enterprise-level projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with business objectives and maintaining stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Builds, leads, and coaches multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles across NYBC Enterprises divisions.
  • Define and create project plans for project and program prioritization and implementation.
  • Defines and coordinates the securing of commitments from cross-functional groups and external providers in terms of resources, cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Produces all relevant project management deliverables such as project objectives and requirements, risk assessments, project plans, project status reports, open issues log, change logs, action items list etc.; project risks will be escalated to sponsors on a timely basis for decision resolution and disposition.
  • Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects.
  • Assess and resolve all high-priority project risks as they are encountered.
  • Defines and leads strategy, implementation, operational planning/excellence, establishment, execution, and evaluation of multifaceted and cross-functional programs.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company.
  • Continually update relevant business stakeholders of project status across enterprise.
  • Ensure all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in business cases.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of policies, guidelines, practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Tracks project status and manage project teams to mitigate issues and risks.
  • Acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design.
  • Works with organizational leaders to create and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform that defines the people, processes, tools, and technologies as applicable.
  • Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements as applicable.
  • Regularly updates relevant business stakeholders of project status.
  • Manages vendors, consultants, and developers to ensure appropriate documentation, process flows, specifications, and system testing.
  • Coordinates the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and acquire appropriate resources needed, ensuring availability necessary for project deliverables. Manage resources within respective departments, other internal departments, outside service providers, as well as materials committed to the projects.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with multiple Project Management Methodologies (Six Sigma, Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK, Lean, etc.) in managing Enterprise level projects.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating concurrent small, medium and /or large-scale projects and delivering on time and within budget.
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and adapt to new projects rapidly and effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Experience and high proficiency with project management tools/software packages (ServiceNow, Smartsheet, MS Project, SharePoint, MS TEAMS, OneNote, Visio, Office 365, etc.)
  • Strong multitasking skills, able to shift focus and priorities, and reprioritize project portfolio as needed.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of project management and change management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of software requirements, test specifications, and computer systems validation.
  • Cultural competency and the ability to communicate effectively in a culturally sensitive manner with both individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.

Salary/Compensations

  • $127,000.00 to $137,000.00 per year (for Westchester County)
  • Salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience (for outside New York City or Westchester County)
